Club Achievement & Recognition

Local AAF clubs and volunteer leaders are recognized for outstanding achievement as their impact grows from the local stage to broader levels of the organization.

At the district level, clubs compete in the Distinguished Club competition, which evaluates excellence in programming, membership, communications, and community engagement among peer chapters.

At the national level, the Ovation Awards honor the very best local clubs across the country for overall performance and leadership excellence.

Distinguished Club

All District 6 clubs are automatically entered to participate in each year’s Distinguished Club Competition. Each club will earn points based on the action items and incentives listed on a yearly checklist. This document also serves as a useful checklist of many of the yearly responsibilities required of a local club.

GRAND PRIZE: $1,500 Cash

SECOND PLACE: $1,000 Cash

THIRD PLACE: $500 Cash

All other clubs receive cash for points accumulated at the level of $50 for every 1,500 points earned.
