BLUE TRACK

JOYCE HAYEK  With more than 12 years of experience in the business, Joyce Hayek has worked on brands like General Motors, Goodwill, University of Michigan, Midtown Detroit, and Bed Bath & Beyond to mention a few. She has recently joined the Detroit Public Schools Community District marketing team as the creative coordinator for more than 106 schools, following her passion to pursue her love for education. In her early days she decided to leave the United States to join multiple teams of international companies to learn more about the European design style. Her many years of national and international experience made her understand that killing great ideas is just as important to any job as developing a concept in the first place and made her an award winning designer holding both local and regional awards as a student and professional.

 

DAVID HUHNKE  David Huhnke is the Director of Communications and Marketing for the City of Lafayette. Prior to coming to the City, he was Vice President, Community Engagement Manager for Old National Bank, where he completed a 35-year career in the financial industry. He has worked at Purdue University doing corporate development and marketing for Purdue Musical Organizations; Director of Marketing at Greater Lafayette United Way; and was with Purdue Federal Credit Union as Market Development Manager. Huhnke is currently serving as Past Board Chairman for the YWCA Greater Lafayette; VP of Sustainability for the Tippecanoe Arts Federation; Sire (Mentor) for the Purdue Varsity Glee Club; and the Executive Director for the AAF of North Central Indiana where he served as President. In 2008, he was named AAF’s National President of the Year for division four and in 2010 won AAF’s Silver Medal Award. In June of 2014, he became AAF’s District 6 Governor. Huhnke has won numerous marketing awards including Best of Show for ADDYs, Indiana Bankers Association Best of Show Maxi Awards, and Credit Union Executive Society Golden Mirror Awards.

 

ANDREW SPALDING  Andrew serves as Creative Director at Louisville branding and marketing agency Fieldtrip, overseeing a vast spectrum of projects from branding, illustration, and animations, to TV, Web, and copywriting. With clients ranging from national construction and furniture companies, all the way down to local restaurants and community murals. His true passion though, lies in the process of creative ideation, and discovering how to apply those ideas visually. He’s been recipient to several AIGA Judge’s choice awards, and has been recognized many times over by the AAF. He treats every endeavor with the highest regard and an opportunity to master a new skill or technique. He challenges perspectives and pushes teammates and clients alike to bring their best to the table.

RYAN ABEGGLEN  With nearly two decades under his belt at firms ranging from boutique design studios to large ad agencies, Ryan builds brands designed to stand out in an increasingly noisy marketplace. Though some notable clients include Nike, NCAA, and GE, it’s the young, hungry brands that keep his skills sharp, intuition strong, and imagination on a swivel. He’s a sucker for type, a stickler for detail, and learned early on that everyone needs that one person in their life that’s completely unimpressed with everything they do. In his spare time, he’s turned his hand as a fine artist, vintage motorcycle builder, apparel company owner, and currently is dangerously close to becoming a sneakerhead.

 

HENRY CHASSAIGNAC  Henry is the President/ECD at Zehnder Communications. Prior to his appointment to President in 2016, Henry served as Creative Director and led the company's Nashville office, which he opened in January of 2010. Recent accounts include Visit South Walton Florida, Feeding America, DuPage Medical Group, Origin Bank, Visit Highlands NC, Green River Distillery and Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series. He served as the agency’s ACD/Senior Copywriter before moving to Nashville in 2005 to open creative boutique BumperCar Advertising & Design. BumperCar’s list of project clients included The Nashville Zoo, Peter Frampton, The Adventure Science Center, HGTV, GAC and Country Music Television. In addition to writing and producing promos for the three television networks, Henry wrote, produced and directed TV spots for Coors Light, The Grand Ole Opry, Jimmy Dean Sausage, Dish Network, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Wrangler Jeans and others. After almost 30 years in the ad business, Henry lists a handful of National ADDY® Awards, AAF Best of Show honors and a couple of listings in Communication Arts among his personal highlights. During his first tour with Zehnder, the Ad Club of New Orleans named Henry Advertising Person of the Year in creative services.

 

KARA KELLEY  After spending six years at a San Francisco-based public relations agency where she honed her skills as an imaginative thinker and decisive problem solver, Kara joined the Asher team in 2007. She quickly rose to become a key member of the management team and in 2016 was named president of the agency. Kara is regarded as one of the country’s leading retail franchisee experts, and her vision and leadership are respected and in demand at the corporate level. Franchisees across the country have come to rely on her keen marketing insights. Kara is an astute team builder who works tirelessly to grow her clients’ business and the Asher brand. In 2014, she was named one of Fort Wayne’s “40 under 40” business leaders. She was recently nominated for Greater Fort Wayne Inc’s Champions of Change Award, is a member of the executive board of Community Harvest Food Bank, chairs the Strategic Task Force for the Historic Embassy Theatre, a board member of the Indiana Franchise Association and is on the marketing committee for The Circle of Ivy. Kara is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
